Electronic commerce draws on technologies such as mobile commerce, electronic funds transfer, supply chain management, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI), inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems. E-commerce markets are growing at noticeable rates. The online market is expected to grow by 56% in 2015–2020. Brick and mortar retailers are struggling because of online retailer's ability to offer lower prices and higher efficiency. However irrespective of the growth rate, the utmost potential of e-commerce has not been ripped to match the digital age where the world stands presently. The improved technology most times comes when it is already outdated. To tackle that limitation and bring the world of e-commerce to the future, AligatoCoin was created.

Aligato is a new-generation auction-sale platform, based on blockchain and the AligatoCoin. This is just what e-commerce has been waiting for, THE FUTURE! By employing the functionalities of the blockchain technology, Aligato is taking the e-commerce economy to a whole new world with a decentralized database, where the register of blocks together with intelligent contracts enhances high security and utmost transparency. This project, version 2.0 is an improvement or extension of an existing trading platform (Aligato.pl) which has been existing since 2016.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCEThe blockchain protocol will be gradually implemented with artificial intelligence to make very easy the transaction process from the end-user’s perspective, and also improve the overall functionality of the entire platform. Artificial intelligence in e-commerce is quite a revolution. This integration has made it possible to collect and analyze data in real time. This improvement gives our users access to minimize the allocated time to finding the searched item by adjusting search algorithms, streamlining complaint processes or technical support.

COMMERCIAL DRONESDue to the fact that processing shipments has been a bottle-neck challenge recently, We have also implemented a drone technology to enable the delivery of smaller-size shipments at smaller distances. The time it takes to deliver a product was beginning to grow more and more longer and it takes our commercial drone to put that challenge behind for good. The system is to operate on the B2C (business-to-consumer) and C2C (consumer-to-consumer) lines, delivering shipments up to one hundred kilograms to the customer’s door.

SYSTEM PAY VIA EYE

The implementation of the Eye Pay System is one of the most innovative technological aspects of the Aligato project; it enables the approval of transactions by means of Iris scan. The PvE technology will use the right algorithms from existing devices, creating its own scanner to run PvE as one of the available payment methods on the platform.
